Izumi Osaragi

オサラギイヅミ

1990年台　埼玉県生まれ。
中学時代家に転がっていた父のASAHI PENTAX SPを持ち出して撮影を開始
学校帰りはラボに寄り地元写真愛好家から写真を学び、
ラボの期限切れフィルムに助けられ写真を続ける。
大学時代闘病のため写真を撮れなくなるが2017年より徐々に再開
独自の視点で自然風景、マクロ、スナップ、ドキュメントなどを撮影
2018年より古典写真技法のサイアノタイプを扱った作品を発表している

2019年はイタリア-オルヴィエートにて路地の撮影をし、写真集"L'Orvieto"を発刊。
2023年・2024年はバングラデシュ-ダッカのスラム街に生きる人々や北東部シレット/ジュリにて茶園での労働者とその子供たちの教育について取材していた。

Izumi Osaragi

Born in Saitama Prefecture in the 1990s.

During his university years, he was unable to take photographs due to his battle with illness, but gradually resumed photography in 2017.

Photographs natural landscapes, macros, snapshots, and documents from a unique perspective.

Since 2018, he has been presenting works using the classical photography technique of cyanotype.

In 2019, he photographed the alleys of Orvieto, Italy, and published a photo book called "L'Orvieto."

In 2023 and 2024, he interviewed people living in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and in Sylhet/Juri in the northeast, about the education of tea plantation workers and their children.
